March 2012 ~ Scrapbooking ~

Welcome to March everybody!

The babiest of the Babies Sauri turns 2 this month so we have a "Book Party" in store.  I can't wait!

It is a busy month for the Sauri Family as far as birthday celebrations go.  There are 5 individuals in our extended and immediate family that celebrate birth this month.  Plus, Spring officially springs right?? That's fun too!

Oh my goodness, I just noticed that I dated these pictures March 2010.  Aahh they were taken March 2011.  I guess that's what I get for creating this page in December instead of right away.  Oh well.  Grandma and Grandpa have it now so nothing I can do about it now.

This white paper is so beautiful and I love how the page turned out but there were so many things wrong here.  First, the paper was very unforgiving when it came to mistakes.  You notice those big purple dots, yea I had to cover up some mistakes there.  And those little strips of the blue butterfly paper, I had to cover my not-so-straight lines with something so that's how those  ridiculous things came about.

And yet again a not-so-straight line that I had to fix.  Second, I ran out of my runner adhesive so I bought some tubes of this liquid craft glue that totally messed up everything.

You know how things get when you put glue on, the paper gets distorted and you can see "wet" marks everywhere.   That's what happened when I used that stuff.  I learned my lesson for sure.

My Materials:
From SEI's Sunny Day Collection

1}  Puddle pink foil paper (front and back)
2}  White paper (I apologize I cannot find the name of the actual paper anywhere)
3}  Sundress glitter paper
4} I used the foam alpha's included in the kit, traced them onto the white paper, and then cut them out with my scissors for the month title.
5}  The Paper Studio Dual Tip Glue Pen (definately not for scrapbooking)

You can find January and February below.
These 2 pages were more of a learning experience than anything else.  I love how they came out though and those white stripes are so beautiful.  The photos do not do the paper justice.
See you soon!
